REPORTING TO THE GROUP MARKETING MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE:
Plan and direct internal and external events, including in-person, virtual, online and hybrid events according to specific marketing objectives for the Group, locally and internationally.
JOB FUNCTION:
Coordinate Company's participation at local and international conferences and exhibitions, customer events/training, industry events and staff events to minimise costs and to maximise impact and awareness for the company's brand
Ensure that all events receive full media, social media, industry and internal exposure by providing timeous information to the Marketing Officer
Develop a budget for short and long term plans and manage within parameters
Coordinate identified key events and projects according to the departmental process
Ensuring of all events receive full media, industry and internal exposure by providing timeous information to the Marketing Officer
Create awareness for the activities of the company's sports teams by ensuring exposure in the Grapevine and on Interface
Develop promotional materials in line with brand strategy and corporate CI
Establish and maintain relationships and networks with key stakeholders and influencers
Negotiate supplier contracts annually on a per project basis
