Reports to: HR Manager
Purpose:
- To ensure all related payroll functions (wages) are accurately and efficiently applied, inducing: Payroll Management, HR Administration, Compliance and Record-Keeping, Employee Support Data Management, and Process Improvement.
The successful candidate must be able to perform the following key tasks:
- Ensure compliance – all leave forms.
- Ensure VIP input is accurate.
- Review and record accurate time management.
- Ensure all approvals are obtained prior to processing.
- Ensure payroll compliance in terms of MEIBC Main Agreement.
- Ensure accurate reporting.
- Update reports for wage costings, absenteeism and overtime.
- Monthly reports to be completed 24 hours after last wage process for the month.
- Ensure 3rd party payments are accurate.
- Keep wage costings report up to date.
- Ensure finance month end summary sheet must balance with weekly wages paid for month end.
- Ensure all terminations are processed in the week following termination.
- Complete relevant documents: certificate of service, UI19 and provident fund forms.
- Ad-hoc duties as per.
