Description of key performance areas:

• Implements projects relating to coatings and structural polymers/product development of new and existing products.
• Development of alternate polymer technologies in order to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Ability to conduct research on subjects relating to projects, including raw materials.
• Formulate and synthesise products at laboratory and pilot plant scale.
• Generate and maintain formulation packages and technical literature on sage x3.

• Ability to work independently, must be creative and solve problems logically and analytically using conventional and unconventional techniques.
• The candidate must have chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry

Experience:

• 2 years related experience in a Polymer Science laboratory.
• (Specifically Solvent and Water-based polymers and dispersions)
