Key Performance Areas - Stores Duties : • Maintains stock availability and reports major stock movements by advising Admin. Clerk of items that need replenishment • Assists with perpetual or periodic stock takes • Receives stock from suppliers ensuring that the receiving inspection has been done, items are correct as ordered and stock is in the respective storage location • Enters all receipts into SAP • Issues stock to production as required • Investigates stock variances - Despatch Duties : • Checks outstanding order schedules and advises the Internal Sales Clerks of any changes to expected delivery dates • Checks outstanding order schedules and picks stock for order delivery and accumulates stock in holding area • Liaises with Workshop Superintendent for driver to schedule local deliveries and Admin. Clerk for external deliveries • Generates delivery note at time of despatch for collection by customer, ensuring that all relevant receipt details are captured on the delivery note • Files all despatch documentation such as POD’s, waybills, picking slips, delivery notes, etc… • Ensures that relevant test certificates are supplied with each order • Performs any ad hoc duties when requested to • Schedules lifting inspections as per customer requirements for quarterly and annual inspections • Obtains quotes from Service Providers for scheduled inspections • Issues quotes to Administration Clerk for Purchase Order creation • Liaises with Service Providers advising them of inspection schedules • Issues certificates based on returned reports from inspection teams • Where replacement of faulty lifting equipment takes place, advises Office Administrator of materials replaced for invoicing purpose • Controls incoming hoists for repairs by clearly tagging customers property and issuing to repairer / tester • Issues hoist spares requirements for Purchase Order creation • Advises Office Administrator on completion of servicing and testing of hoist for invoicing purposes • Prepares safety files for customers when required - Other • Maintains branch safety records, carries out inspections, conducts PJO’s, issues toolbox talks, compiles risk assessments and ad hoc safety responsibilities • Assists with coordinating the workshop staff in the absence of the Workshop Superintendent.
