Our ideal candidate would be a WordPress developer with 5+ years experience either freelance/agency. Someone who has the ability to take a client brief from conception, through to design, development and publication following all best practices to create an amazing website that yields ROI for the client.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Scope out the website deliverables with clients

• Plan out website tasks and timelines on Asana

• Develop modern, fast, mobile & user friendly WordPress websites that are stunning to look at using the latest WordPress themes and page builders (Elementor, Crocoblock, etc)

• Incorporate technical SEO best practices into the website build

• Manage projects from start to finish successfully within set budgets and timelines

• Work with designers and different teams to deliver the best outcome for projects

• Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients during projects

• Monthly site maintenance (WordPress, themes, plugins)

• Ad hoc requests from clients

• Troubleshoot and scope out functionality solutions

• E-commerce management with WooCommerce. setup, products, shipping, payment gateways

• Basic server setup of Wordpress environments (Xneelo, WP Engine, Rocket.net)

• Basic use of Photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, CC)

Key requirements

• HTML, CSS, Javascript

• 3+ years experience with client communication

• 3+ years experience with Project Management

• 5+ years of proven work experience as a WordPress / WooCommerce Developer.

• Relevant qualifications or Portfolio of work
