• Lead all aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective upkeep of buildings, equipment, fleet, and infrastructure.

• Monitoring the tools used on the manufacturing line to ensure efficient run rates and identify necessary repairs or possible improvements
• Design jigs & fixtures for use as work aids in the fabrication of parts or products
• Attending machine breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem
• Assisting in tool maintenance
• Ensure compliance to all company and group policies & procedures

• Set-up and operate various machining equipment such as manual and CNC lathes, milling, surface grinders, spark eroding, jet sparking etc., in order to machine components to precise customer specifications. 
• Attend on-site apprenticeship classes in addition to on-the-job learning while performing responsibilities on the shop floor, including die maintenance and die assembly responsibilities.
• Repairing, and troubleshooting press tools and plastic injection molding tools, supporting the tool room during die sets, and collecting and analyzing data to improve part processing and quality. 
• Operating toolroom equipment, hand tools, machinery in a safe manner at all times.  Supports tryout and make ready to run production after corrections to tools and dies. 
• Uses statistical process control (SPC), gauge checks, quality control to determine dimensional integrity for tooling and/or die adjustments and submit document results to appropriate personnel. 
• Updates and maintains engineering and toolroom records for future references.  Practices good housekeeping requirements throughout the facility. 
• Designing of jigs & fixtures (four months) as instructed by design office manager.
