Duties

Talent Management

Establish and monitor employee Personal Development Plans.

Ensure individual PDP's are aligned to business needs.

Drive ana ensure that all employees submit their talent and Manual Performance reviews twice a year.

Conduct monthly performance check-ins with new employees on probation.

 

Industrial Relations

Line Management support and guidance with Labour relations issues.

Ensure legal compliance with IR issues.

Monitor & control discipline on site in line with the Disciplinary Code.

Internal dispute Resolution.

Draft disciplinary warnings, notices and correspondence as and when required.

Liaise and consult with the IR team.

Skills Development 6‹ Training

Identify training needs and prepared annual training plan.

Manage the training budget.

Ensure Skills Development Target spend is achieved for the financial year.

Manage employee study assistance applications.

BBBEE reporting on skills development (Toolkit)

Promote the absorption of Graduates to acquire bonus points.

 

Employment Equity

Draft and implement the employment equity 5 year plan.

Drive and promote the achievement of the employment equity target for the financial year.

Ensure recruitment and succession planning needs align to EE plans.

Co-ordinate and maintain a record to all committee meetings.

 

Transformation

Ensure People and Culture alignment with the overall Transformation strategy.

Collaborate with the Transformation manager on the BEE strategy and pillars relevant to People and Culture.

Manage and monitor Employment Equity targets in-line with the transformation strategy.

Coordinate and facilitate requirements from People ana Culture for the BEE verification period.

 

Performance Management

Coach Managers during the goal setting period to ensure that they set SMART goals for their teams.

Responsible for the performance management cycle.

Calibrate 6‹ validate received performance ratings with the Head of Department.

Submit performance scores to the Remuneration and Benefits teams.

Facilitate performance management sessions as and when required.

Track Project TOO (Mandated to open offices into Africa with HR centralized in South Africa).

Payroll

Submit monthly payroll inputs to the payroll department.

Review the variance report and check for discrepancies.

Organizational Development

Update the company's organizational structure.
