Duties
To support the Head of Zimele, as coordinator of funding solutions
and processes in managing funding partnerships while serving as the
interface between Zimele, our externally appointed managing agent,
Absa, and the hub teams;
Train, coach, mentor and oversee 16 people remotely, being 8 hubs
geographically located over South Africa from Kathu (Northern
Cape) to Limpopo and Twickenham (Burgersfort);
Partnering with our fund agent to monitor and control loan funding
applications to SMME’s in the host communities - from pre-vetting
and credit assessments to post loan management, including
collections and handover to the externally appointed legal firm;
Chair stakeholder engagements with BU’s to provide feedback on
status of the outstanding loan book;
Strategic funding planning to co-ordinate disbursements, pipeline
management with supply chain and inclusive procurement of the
various stakeholders;
