Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Junior Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and a knack for building strong relationships. The role involves cold calling, lead generation, and managing key account relationships across a diverse client base spanning Africa and the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality and be comfortable engaging in high-level sales processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
  2. Client Outreach: Engage with potential clients, presenting our services and solutions in a compelling and professional manner.
  3. Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  4. Sales Process: Navigate the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, including proposal development and contract negotiations.
  5. Market Research: Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs, and trends within the industry.
  6. Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to management and suggesting improvements to the sales strategy.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and consulting teams to align on strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to business development.

Qualifications

  1. Education: A degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Skills:
    1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    2. Ability to engage with clients at all levels, including senior executives.
    3. Proficient in sales techniques, including cold calling and lead generation.
    4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Attributes:
    1. Highly motivated, with a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
    2. Resilient and able to handle rejection and setbacks.
    3. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.

 

Experience

  1. Prior experience in sales or business development is preferred.
  2. Familiarity with the industries in which we operate is a plus.
  3. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is advantageous.
