- Coordination: Oversee the technical aspects of construction projects, including ensuring that work is executed according to engineering plans, specifications, and standards.
- Design: Assist in the interpretation of design drawings. Provide technical input to address any design issues or modifications required during construction
- Supervision: Supervise on-site construction activities, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor construction progress and ensure that work is completed on schedule. Identify and address any delays or issues that may affect project timelines.
- Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and materials. Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project.
- Testing: Coordinate and oversee testing of construction materials and methods to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Regulations: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site. Conduct safety briefings, monitor site conditions, and address any safety concerns promptly.
- Records: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, inspection reports, and any issues encountered. Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, technical issues, and any deviations from the design to relevant stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction. Implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions and keep the project on track.
- Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding technical aspects of construction, resource allocation, and problem resolution.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of construction activities. Provide technical support and guidance as needed.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction management, or a related field advantageous.
- Relevant certifications or professional memberships are a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in site engineering and construction management, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Skills: Strong technical and analytical skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, quality standards, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
