The Key Account Manager is a professional responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with a company’s most important and strategic clients or accounts. The primary focus of a Key Account Manager is to ensure the satisfaction of key clients, maximize sales opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business. Your focus will be on understanding their unique needs, aligning our solutions with their objectives, and driving mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships.
Roles and Responsibilities / Key Performance Areas:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with client objectives for long-term success.
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate efforts and deliver tailored solutions to key clients.
Continuously analyse account performance and market trends to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Address and resolve client concerns promptly, ensuring a positive client experience.
Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with key clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Utilize data analysis to assess account performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
Provide regular reports on key account metrics, achievements, and challenges to internal stakeholders.
Keeping abreast of any new advances or innovations in the industry.
Understanding hygiene audit criteria and evaluating results correctly.
Ensure Hygiene Files and Tank Manuals are checked and in order.
