Permanent - Group Financial Manager - Johannesburg - South Africa

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of five divisions within the Group. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role and serve as a strategic financial partner to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance function across five business divisions

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and financial reporting standards

• Manage and optimize accounting systems, including QuickBooks and other financial software

• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership

• Prepare and present accurate monthly and annual financial reports

• Manage audits and liaise with external auditors

• Implement and maintain robust internal controls

• Lead and mentor finance team members to ensure professional development and performance excellence

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant financial management experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (a professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CIMA is an advantage)

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other modern accounting software

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements

• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in English; Afrikaans proficiency is advantageous

• Ability to manage multiple business units and work under pressure

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
