Job Purpose:
- The Country General Manager is responsible for leading the overall business operations, growth, and profitability of the company in South Africa. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- The Country General Manager drives business development, optimizes operational efficiency, and aligns the local team with the company's global vision and objectives to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the business in line with the Company’s strategy agreed with company management and reflected in Balanced Scorecards of the Company
- carrying out budgeting, financial planning, ensuring the operational efficiency of the business: evaluating and driving to successful results. Responsible and accountable for achieving the Company's financial performance (net profit, cash flow, risks management)
- determining priorities depending on the Company's strategy, making key decisions, controlling the implementation of plans and budgets, responsibility for the team's results
- building long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with all key stakeholders: (colleagues, partners, vendors, service providers)
- searching for new opportunities, analyzing the market situation, studying its development trends
- forming motivated and professional team, cultivate management by data culture of the team. Learn and use all productivity tools used by company group.
- creating, evaluating efficiency and optimizing business processes
- Any other tasks related to business development.
