We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admin Support to the Accounts and Sales departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative assistance to the Managing Director, Financial Manager, and Sales Team, ensuring the smooth functioning of business operations. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Accounts and Sales departments.

  • Assist the Managing Director and Financial Manager with delegated tasks.

  • Conduct product and market research as needed.

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers professionally.

  • Prepare quotations and issue invoices.

  • Monitor and follow up on production and delivery schedules.

  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, trackers, and management reports.

  • Perform general office administrative duties, including basic bookkeeping.

  • Coordinate courier services and manage logistics.

  • Schedule and manage appointments.

  • Support the internal sales team with lead generation and follow-ups.

  • Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric (Senior Certificate) – Required

  • Experience:

    • At least 2 years' experience in a debtors and creditors role – Required

    • At least 1 year of experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or trading environment – Advantageous

    • Experience with accounting software, preferably Sage or Xero – Advantageous

  • Computer Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel – Required

  • Other Requirements:

    • Bilingual (English and at least one additional South African language) – Required

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle – Strictly Required
