Permanent - Financial Manager - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) - South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, Debtors, Creditors Cash Book etc
• Cost and Management Accounts
• Group Reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and projections for senior management
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies and procedures.
• Manage audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements. 
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and risk assessments. 
• Coordinate with other departments to support overall business planning and strategy.
• Evaluate and implement financial software systems to improve efficiency.
• Responsible for stock/inventory control

Qualifications and Experience:

BCom Finance/Accounting

Proven track record of financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting,

Hands-on Debtors, Creditors Cash Book, stock/inventory control, cost and management accounts experience at middle management level.

People Management skills

Strong Computer skills - financial software systems knowledge
