A well-established engineering company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will combine technical engineering knowledge with sales expertise to design hydraulic solutions, support clients, and drive new business development.

This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who enjoys working closely with customers to provide engineered hydraulic and hydrostatic system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hydraulic and hydrostatic systems according to customer requirements.
• Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations and engineered solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within target industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing technical advice and support.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
• Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate system design and delivery.
• Provide after-sales technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, hydraulic technologies, and market trends.

Key Requirements

• Bachelo’s Degree (BEng, BSc, or BTech) in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, or N6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in hydraulic or hydrostatic system design.
• Experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to clients clearly.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow client relationships.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
