Job Description

• Develop and implement ICT governance, security, risk and compliance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Manage ICT Governance and Security within the Information Technology function.
• Ensure compliance with ICT requirements and controls.
• Manage access to PPRA information and ICT systems.
• Protect the organisation against cybersecurity threats and unauthorised activities.
• Develop and implement ICT governance and security policies, processes and procedures.
• Perform ICT risk and compliance services.
• Conduct Cybersecurity and IT Governance awareness initiatives.
• Manage stakeholders and service providers to ensure service levels are achieved.
• Manage people and the departmental budget.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (NQF 7) or equivalent.
• Valid COBIT 5, COBIT 2019, CGEIT, CISM or CISSP certification.
• Postgraduate degree and CISA / ISO 27001 would be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, including 3 years at supervisory level.
• Knowledge of ISO processes, IT Governance, Security Management and Corporate Governance.
• Experience in policy conceptualisation and implementation.
• Experience in IT planning, governance, organisation and development.
• Experience in systems design and development.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning.
• Understanding of project management, data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
