Permanent - Junior Engineer Electrical - Benoni - South Africa

• Junior Graduate Electrical Engineer is an entry-level development role designed to provide practical exposure to utility management, electrical engineering, communications infrastructure, metering systems, and technical operations

• Work closely with senior management, electrical technicians, and communication specialists to develop a comprehensive understanding of Archon's technical service offerings

• Through structured mentoring and practical experience, the candidate will progressively develop the skills required to provide technical support, project coordination, operational oversight, and eventually leadership of the Electrical and Communications divisions

• Highly motivated graduate seeking hands-on engineering experience and a long-term career path into technical management within the utility, energy, metering, and communications sectors

• Assist with the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations

• Participate in electrical fault finding and troubleshooting activities

• Assist with low-voltage and medium - voltage infrastructure projects

• Support metering, AMR, AMI, and utility management projects

• Assist with electrical compliance inspections and reporting

• Support power quality investigations and data analysis

• Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Participate in site surveys and technical assessments

• Assist in the preparation of engineering reports and recommendations

• Work alongside communications technicians during installations and maintenance activities
